The Heart of Texas CPCU Society Chapter is pleased to announce the availability of a one-time $1,000 scholarship for a Baylor University or University of Mary Hardin Baylor student. This scholarship opportunity is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a major in insurance, risk management, or business. The applicant must have a minimum 2.75 GPA (4.0 scale) and must not be receiving full reimbursement of educational expenses from an external source, such as an employer

Since we are gaining new GIS members, we would like to celebrate and get to know each other by having a pizza night!

Earlier this week, you expressed interest in Gamma Iota Sigma. See below for more information about our first meeting.
Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) is a professional risk management, insurance, and actuarial science fraternity that is open to students of all majors who are interested in risk management and insurance careers. GIS membership provides access to scholarship opportunities, internship and job opportunities, and opportunities for travel to and networking at industry conferences.
Come join us for the first meeting of the semester! We will hear from Baylor students about their internship experiences this past summer with Goldman Sachs, USAA, and American Modern Insurance Group, as well as discuss plans for the upcoming semester. This is a meeting you certainly won’t want to miss!
Who: All Gamma Iota Sigma members and students interested in risk and insurance are welcome!
