Dear Friends at Baylor University –
By way of introduction in case we have not corresponded before, my name is Christie Natonio I am a Campus Recruiting Manager with AIG’s University Relations team. Our team is responsible for all the summer intern and full-time entry level hiring across AIG globally.
Given our ongoing partnership with Gamma Iota Sigma’s national organization, we recognize the strength of GIS and its students as a key talent pool for our industry, particularly given the Risk Management and Insurance focus. I am e-mailing you because I have just recently posted our 2015 Underwriting Summer Internship on Baylor’s campus recruiting portal and would like to ask if you would please encourage other GIS members and any other interested students to apply to this position. Please note that the application deadline for this position is Sunday, February 1st, 2015. Interested students can also send their resumes to me directly.
Candidates who are selected will not only have the opportunity to interview with us, but will also be invited to attend our AIG Underwriting Internship Symposium in the February-March timeframe. At this symposium, students will have the opportunity to learn about both AIG and our internship program, and have the chance to network with professionals.
If you have any questions or would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I have attached our job description here as well.
