Here is some information on the DFW RIMS Conference for October 15,2012. For those attending the International Conference in Chicago, the RIMS Conference is the day after we fly back into Dallas, so we are looking into staying in Dallas that night to attend the conference the next day. · Volunteers – We need some volunteers to arrive early and help during registration, and as well as during the tournament (e.g. driving golf carts, loading/unloading bags). This is also a good opportunity for them to get out there and meet industry professionals. If you have any students interested please have them e-mail me so that we can coordinate with them.

The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Risk & Insurance Management Society annually awards merit scholarships of varying amounts to worthy undergraduate or graduate students who are studying risk management and plan to pursue a career in the field of risk management. Scholarship recipients will be requested to attend the October 15, 2012 Risk Management Symposium. The Alpha Pi chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma will hold its first meeting Tuesday, September 11 at 5:00 pm in Cashion 303.
